The early stages of this process involved capturing a live plate of my set. Afterwards, I recorded footage of a full scale cut out of Emily and Emily’s clay sculpture moving across the set. This footage will be later on used for lighting reference.
Using pencil on paper techniques, I began to animate the sequence on top of a copy of the live action plate. Following this, I produced a clean up version of the sequence in ToonBoom Harmony.
To complete the final product, I will use Adobe After Effects to add lighting to the sequence, thus fully integrating Emily into the sequence.
The image (Below) demonstrates how colour will be applied to Emily in Toon Boom Harmony. Adobe After Effects will be used to add lighting to the sequence.
